Resolution C-04-09 on the Conservation of Tuna in the
eastern Pacific Ocean in 2004-2006 requires that:
1. China,
Japan, Korea, and Chinese Taipei, shall take the measures
necessary to ensure that their total annual longline catch of
bigeye tuna in the EPO during 2004, 2005 and 2006 will not
exceed the following catch levels:

2. Other
IATTC Parties, cooperating non-parties, fishing entities or
regional economic integration organizations (CPCs) shall take
the measures necessary to ensure that their total annual
longline catch of bigeye tuna in the EPO during 2004, 2005, 2006
and 2007 will not exceed their respective 2001 catch levels,
or in 2007, 500 t, whichever is the greater.
3. CPCs
whose annual catches have exceeded 500 metric tons shall
provide monthly catch reports to
the Director.
