Biography
Eblin Pereira joined the IATTC staff in 2024 to work as a supervising biologist at the Achotines Laboratory in the Republic of Panama. She is responsible for the supervision and planning of research activities in the laboratory, data collection and management, and also participates in the research activities carried out by the Early Life Cycle group. Eblin is a national of Costa Rica where she completed her biology studies with an emphasis in marine biology at the National University of that country, where she had the opportunity to work with fish such as snapper, croaker and sea bass, as well as microalgae before moving to Panama to work in the commercial production of Amberjack.
