  • Assist in data entry and processing of observers data. 
  • Assist in the entry and processing of logbooks data.
  • Assist in the entry and processing of safety gear and cross-endorsed trips.
  • Assist in the entry and processing of size frequency sampling data.

Biography

Jimmy is from Manta, Ecuador. He has experience as observer on-board, having worked for the National Observer Program of Panama PRONAOB and the ViceMinistry of Aquaculture and Fisheries VAP for more than 6 years. He has acquired experience in the administration and management of fishery resources through my significant collaboration with the artisanal and industrial fishing sector as a public official of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries for 7 years. He has collaborated with the General Directorate of Maritime Interests of Ecuador (DIGEIM) in workshops aimed at promoting the control of illegal unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU), He also also participated in collaborations to the National Action Plans for Dorado with FAO and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
